Now, I'm on narcotics for pain, muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories, anti-depressants, thyroid meds, nerve pain meds, more narcotics for breakthrough pain, and meds to sleep. For those of you familiar with the 10 point pain chart, I stay at about a 6-7 on the meds. Without the meds, I'm non-functional at 9-10.
Today, in Charlottesville, Virginia, there is a weather front coming through. For chronic pain sufferers and me with Fibromyalgia in particular, depending on the amount of swing in barometric pressure, the amount of pain we swing through.
So, anything that can mitigate my symptoms, I'm willing to first take a look at it, then if it checks out, give it a try. It was that way with the Juice Plus+ Vineyard. But, upon further review, the Vineyard is packed with all sorts of sources of anti-inflammatories. A Penn State University Study (http://extension.psu.edu/health/news/2014/berry-berry-beneficial-reduce-inflammation-with-fruit) outlines the properties of several berries and not suprisingly, they are in the Juice Plus+ Orchard and especially the Juice Plus+ Vineyard.
So, what I do is double up on the Juice Plus+ Vineyard whenever there's a change in weather. For me, it does keep the effects of the pressure changes to a minimum.
Overall, I'd have to say that since starting my Juice Plus+ journey, I've noticed that the mornings are much better. My energy level is higher. I'm still at a 6-7 on the scale, but able to function. That is a good thing.
I know I just wrote about Fibromyalgia about a week ago, but it is such a part of my life and the part of so many others lives that if I can provide any answers or direction for the sufferers of this terrible disease, then I've done my job.
